HISTORIC AMSTERDAM RESIDENCE
Sarphatipark | Amsterdam, Netherlands

Interior Renovation & Styling

Located directly on Amsterdam’s Sarphatipark, this elegant residence is situated in a historic building dating back to the late 18th century.

The interior renovation focused on preserving the apartment’s original architectural character while introducing a timeless blend of vintage and contemporary design.

A particular highlight is the authentic French herringbone parquet flooring, reclaimed from a traditional farmhouse in France and carefully integrated into the residence.

The original doors, decorative mouldings and architectural details were preserved and refreshed through a carefully selected colour palette.

The interior was thoughtfully curated by combining selected existing pieces with vintage designer furniture, contemporary furnishings sourced from local stores.

The bathroom was completely renovated fitting the aesthetic of the interior design of the apartment..

The result is a refined, characterful Amsterdam residence where historic architecture, vintage design and contemporary living come together naturally.
